What kind of tree will I get?
Species will be announced in early April.
Neighborhood Forest aims to provide native tree or
fruit/nut bearing trees in all the regions we serve. Last
year, they gave away 14 different species! We provide
species on a state-by-state basis and like to provide
different species each year to provide variety and
diversity of trees.
The tree looks dead?!
Some of our deciduous trees tend to appear to look like just
a stick since they are still dormant. Kids may say “My tree is
dead,” rest assured if the soil/roots are moist the tree is
alive!
